Talking out of one's a++ with ignorant comments like this one isn't productive to a conversation.
I believe a majority of the people with illegal relatives in the US are pro illegal. They are protecting their kin. I'm not saying it's right but I believe it is reasonable to assume this.
Reasonable, or just an effort to make it us vs them? Only reasonable, because certain people like to think they represent America, and everyone else is a foreigner or traitor.
God forbid America be full of different views.
It's just an effort to create more distrust and prejudice of Mexican-Americans, which has been a constant in this country since the Mexican-American "War". If people truly want to keep race or ethnicity out of it, it's not that hard. Scapegoating and demonizing a group of Americans is what creates divides in this country. Not Mexican-Americans simply existing and sharing an origin with the largest group of people here illegally.
Push and alienate Mexican-Americans more, and they will sympathize with the immigrants. Keep alienating them and grouping all Hispanics together, and that's what'll happen. The easiest way to alienate and anger the Hispanic-American community is making criticism of illegal immigration(reasonable argument) intertwined with criticism of the Hispanic or Mexican-American community and culture(prejudice).
Watch the threats there----------such an attitude will invoke more and more prejudice against Latinos. What I find disgusting is that sorry 'tribal mentality' of many 'American' Hispanics with their so-called 'raza' vs. the USA as a whole.
Again: briefstop; be very careful what you wish for............you may get it.

Your racist for even going there.
Has nothing to do with hispanic. Mexican, Honduran, Costa Rica, is not a race of people, like you wish to turn this into.
Your the racist for even going there.
