FRAMINGHAM, Mass. - Police in Framingham, Mass., say an illegal immigrant from Guatemala entered a police station, told officers he had stolen another man's identity and asked to be deported because he could no longer make ends meet in America.

Self deportation. It seems he was worried about being homeless in the winter. However, he was here for 13 years.
According to the rest of the article he plead not guilty to the stolen identity charge in court. WTH? He had already admitted prior to that, that he HAD stolen another man's identity. Did I just enter the twilight zone?
Now he will join family members and friends back in Guatemala, he'll probably head back to a farm and start producing crops or he'll start a little business. Maybe he'll find a job and pay taxes to his government, he'll be working for the benefit of his country, his people. This is a happy outcome.
Yet he wants us, the US tax payers to give him a free ride home. Where does this attitude come from? What entitlement.... you rich Americans owe us. He came here seeking his shot at the good life but now wants us to pay for his exit? Pallleeeeeze.

He probably just wants a free ride home in time for winter, but save his $5000 to pay the smugglers again come spring.
i think he just might be gone for good. most understand that when you are aprehended and deproted you are automatically in the system. its harder to come back. the ones that really come back are the ones with established families in the US and the ones who were removed against their will.
hes going. he'll probably stay gone.

They managed 5 large to get here the first time, what gives now? 3 large instead?
I don't have a spare three grand, where are they getting their cash? Oh that's right, they get paid under the table aka no taxes. How pleasant.
I'm sure the guy didn't have a lot of the luxuries you have. Computer, internet service, computer furniture(just things I know for sure). What about cable? Eating out?
If illegals can afford to send BILLIONS back to their countries of origin; and if they can also afford to purchase homes and cars in this country, as well as, return to their countries and start businesses and build mansions from their ill-gotten gains here, I dare say, they can afford computers, etc.
Many illegal aliens are living better than U.S. citizens. After all, the average citizen has to pay taxes, and cannot receive “free” medical treatment.
