Waving ones flag in another country as a sign of unity is what invaders do. Its ok when its done on a day where legal citizens with heritage from another country want to celebrate it but not to be flown as a sign of unity or ocupation because that would be an act of war. Maybe they want a war. It might be the only solution if it goes on much longer. Hope not and just for the record I would never encourage it...LOL

Maybe it is time for 4 million PW Trash (of any actual race/ethnicity) Americans to invade Mexico; illegally of course and fly Old Glory. THAT would enrage Mexico----------and, rightly so.

All four of my grandparents were European, coming from Poland, France, and Germany. They occasionally flew their native countries' flags; the French flag on Bastille Day, for example, or the Polish flag to commemorate the Warsaw uprising, but they never tried to offend people by waving those flags in their faces. Most of the time, the flag hanging out on the front porch was the American flag.

There is a big difference though between occasionally flying your native country's flag and wearing it constantly while demanding "rights" that you do not have. If these illegals want to be American, perhaps they should put those Mexican flags away and only bring them out on say September 16th or something.

Yes, I think the majority of "Mexican-Americans" living in the USA give their undying allegience to Mexico, the country they left. I see them waving their Mexican flags, and spouting their Aztlan nonsense very often. The majority want unlimited immigration from Mexico, believe that "la raza" should not be expected to abide by any law here that doesn't convenience them. Uncontrolled immigration to the USA is seen as a good thing for Mexico and that's all they care about, what it does to the USA doesn't matter to them.

Not all of course, there are some hispanics who are pro-USA.

Why would you doubt that? They certainly aren't going to wave American flags until they realize that it looks better if they do.

The big marches in 2006 were primarily Mexican flags and those groups organized those marches. NCLR and MALDEF are very anti-USA, they are for one and only one ethnic group, they want no immigration limits on their race but they certainly do not represent immigrants from Europe or Africa or Asia.

Everything for "la raza" nothing for outside "la raza".

What a sad point to have to make....when, up until recent years, Mexican-Americans were among the most patriotic of groups, with a very HIGH rate of serving with honor in the military.

If we now have to make the point that "a few" are pro-USA, that's sad indeed...

Yes - as a group they did used to be a patriotic group, those whose roots in the USA go back many decades still tend to be quite patriotic but with unlimited and very massive immigration of recent years, they are clearly now outnumbered by the Mexico-firsters who aren't patriotic enough to stay in Mexico and work to improve their country but seem to find their patriotism to Mexico after arriving illegally in the USA.

So many have zero interest in learning the language and culture of the USA. They do nothing to prepare their kids for schools here and then insist on having teachers teach them in Spanish.

At best they have some kind of "binational" vision that lets them remain Mexican in all ways except have access to every job, hospital, school, university, welfare program in the USA.

DOBBS: Why are all those demonstrators out there carrying Mexican flags?

MURGUIA: Well there's a sense of pride with anybody. We just had St. Patrick's Day. Are you saying that Irish, because they're holding up their Irish flags, that all of a sudden they're not loyal or they're un-American? It's a double standard to say that people from one country can wave their flag, but people who want to be Americans can wave another flag, but they're not being loyal. That's a double standard. Irish Americans...
