In all fairness: Mexico's birthrate today is under 2.4 chidren per woman, replacement level is 2.1.

That would still take 2 years to create those kids. If you cannot support yourself you shouldn't be having kids no matter what your stupid religion translates to.

And another?
And another?
And another?
And another?

Don't forget there is at least a 9 month gestation period in between for the parents to digest how hard it is to get by.
Why have 6 kids again?
Are you saying they shouldn't follow the teachings of their church? The Catholic Church (official religion of Mexico) says very clearly that contraception is wrong and that it is a couple's responsibility to have as many kids as God decides. So?

Most self identified Catholics when it comes to birth control ignore the teachings of the Vatican.

Italy and Spain are but two examples: their birthrate is under 1.4 children per woman these days.

Wow, I can't believe that we are criticizing people who choose to follow their church!
Personally, I think the Catholic church is full of cr@p, but why don't we attack their teachings? The church should see the misery that their teachings are causing and relax their rules.

Not criticism here: just hard facts.

Mexico needs a Generation Gap like we had in the 60's-70's.

There seems to be a strong belief by many employers that immigrants are harder workers, and will work for less money than Blacks. So the immigrants are replacing the Black workers in many industries.

I would enjoy hearing your ideas on how immigration both legal and illegal is effecting the Black community.
I agree in part, however the reality is that our recent immigrants, either
from south of the border, or any other region are upwardly moving, and as a result a lot of our locals(blacks or whites) are being displaced and grow increasingly poor and uneducated, if you go to any major University campus in the US you will see a lot of recent immigrants or recent decendants, and few of our whites or blacks, so where are they???
take a look at a welfare office and you will find them.

Hard facts of foolishness. Why anyone would follow a church's teachings to their own detriment confounds me.
