Guanyin ! It's helpful to hear from folks who have lived in the area, (other than my daughter and her family, of course), and can give me their thoughts about it. I really like Highland, (haven't been inside the library, but it's a neat-looking building, as many of the buildings there are), and the other little towns around there. I'm glad the area doesn't seem to be growing too fast, (and I surely hope that doesn't change)! I've had enough of fast growth, where I am now, and I want very much to get out of it. I wouldn't want to live in Edwardsville, simply because it's a bigger town than I want to be in, (not to mention being too far from my daughter), but it's nice that it has pretty much everything we could need. And, there's St. Louis for anything else we'd want!
