If I read correctly, it was at least 60% of those that voted on the measure, or at least 50% of all total ballots.

Wow, it's close: Illinois voter stupidity/financial illiteracy has reached an all-time low.
Do these morons even know what they are voting for?, or did unions manage to stuff ballot boxes?

He got Covid wrong, but so did a lot of people. His approach was measured and not knee-jerk reactionary. He's also given a lot of his fortune to good causes within the state. Overall, he's been better for Illinois than most governors we've had....though that bar is EXTREMELY low.

Bailey doesn't even pronounce the state's name correctly. He said we have to move on just hours after the Highland Park massacre on July 4th. He doesn't resonate with the population around Chicagoland well.

And I voted for Rauner last time.....
His approach was like that of every other Democrat: insane.

What's stopping you from looking at the people that got Covid right, and demanding leaders whose decision-making more resembles theirs?

Did Dan Bailey make any Covid policy? Or was he too focused on making sure 13 year old rape victims kept their babies to term?

That amendment was at 58.7%(or 58.5? something like that) yes, last I checked. Hopefully it is indeed requiring at least 60% yes to pass, since I didn't think that amendment was a good idea. I voted no, and hopefully the yes votes remain below 60%(the threshold to pass a state constitutional amendment, and one where I thought it was a bad idea).

Needs 60%. That's not good though, if it's at 59%. It was like 55% when I last looked.

Like which leaders? Trump who said it was a liberal hoax ? Desantis who misappropriate covid funds for a publicity stunt completely unrelated to covid?

If Pritzer would run for president, does he have to relinquish governorship?

Well if he won, sure.

Maybe we'll find out how that works if DeSantis announces.

Generally speaking, I think they hold the office at least through the primaries, unless they voluntarily step aside. Makes no sense to step down, run, then see bad polling numbers early on, then go back to the job.
