With our great city having an election this november who do you think will win as Mayor of Indy? Greg Ballard or Melinda Kennedy. Tell us who you support and give atleast a few examples. I will not count people that say Ballard sucks Kennedy sucks etc without reasons and details.
I personaly think Ballard should get a 2nd term cause he followed his campaign promise of lowering and capping property taxes. Crime has also went down and job growth has been very good in Indy especially compared to other midwestern cities. Plus he got us Super Bowl 46.

Totally agree yet i hope Indy is smart enough to realize that. However like with most democrats Kennedy will probably encourage everyone to vote especially for her. It doesnt matter though as this november 8th well see if Mayor Ballard gets another term or if i am going to give Kennedy an earful in 2015 and 2019.

Edit: i will also add Kennedy doesnt stand a chance against me cause unlike both parties i am tired of political crap running the city state and country like everyone else. I have the same views as most americans and i am tired of the greed and excuses. One of my campaign promises will be to cut my salary (Yes my Mayoral Salary) by 50% and use the money saved to Hire Cops I could go on and on but i rather save the fun for when its time.

I just checked out Melinda Kennedy's "official" site and she apparently doesn't have any type of plan. She cites issues, well we know what the issues are, what are the plans to rectify them. So far she appears all smoke and mirrors.

The 7th District doesn't cover all of Indy, just most of it. It just so happens that the area of Indy it covers tends to vote Democrat.

Bart Peterson had a plan. Like him or not, that plan got him elected twice.

All that aside, I think Ballard wins easily.

Really? You're going to give Ballard credit for the property tax caps when he had no power and no role in seeing them enacted? Interesting.

Also, I think Jim Irsay was much more influential in bringing SB 46 to Indy.

Ah you forget Indianapolis is the capital so if Mayor Greg Ballard had private talks with Mitch Daniels on capping the property taxes. Regardless the issue is solved.
