Hi, about a year ago I blocked my ex on facebook. It's not a big deal as this has happened twice in the past year but every now and then she will still come up as a "friend of a friend, you may want to ad her" (not the exact message facebook is sending, but thats the intended message im getting.)

Well blocked her for a 3rd time. I litereally have to go into facebook security, unblock her and then block that same user again and it sticks. This is the 3rd time I had to do it. Again not a big deal..not the end of the world but I want her to stay in my past. My concern is if I can see her, she can see me. I have my fb posts private but I don't even want her to see my picture to stir up old memories, any advice welcome thx.

"Friend of a Friend" won't go away.

Prune the Friends you have in common.

Wait, so if she's the friend of a friend I can't block only her from seeing me? That can't be right.

Facebook is anything but a user-friendly venue regarding privacy.

When your mutual friend Likes something you post, it will show up in the ex's right side scroll, and will be visible to her.

If you both have Harry as a Friend, she is probably being peppered with suggestions to Friend Harry's Friend.

And she's probably on a forum somewhere asking the same questions.
