no one knows ever what’s next .

in the mean time it stood up fine in covid and also 2022 ..so my feeling is as always .

planning around or waiting for the next crash or downturn ends up costing more then any downturn causes

Well, you obviously agree with me anyways since you have not moved your regular 60 / 40 amounts to the Reaper yet. Recession is incoming and everyone knows that.

i have been gradually moving money .

remember i started at 20k as just a feeler and now its over 100k . its only a few months ….

i will move more gradually

You have also been heavily rebalancing the rest of your portfolio. Not exactly timing the market, but...

And, that's another reason for praying the Reaper is going to be the solution for aiding with market volatility.

Only one rebalance since last year by design

Markets drove percentage’s higher then I wanted as well as generating cash

The change wasn’t based on me trying to avoid a fall

It is because of design and goal

I want to bring it down to 50% when it exceeds my bands regardless of what I think is going to happen

sold off nycb …it was a speculation and it was going no where but down so far so sold it yesterday. had a gain of 2k in it from previous trades but ended up with just a 600 dollar gain after it fell all week .

added half the proceeds to the reaper and other half to ibit another speculation i have been holding in a bit coin etf.

No, the $8,700 is the reaper money... I thought you just topped it off at $100k just a couple weeks ago. Was that not including the profit?
