That's my statement, nothing about an expat community, just about some people I partied with. So you need to learn to read and comprehend, it would seem.

I was drinking Guinness Stout, not Pimm's lemon lime ginger ale cocktails.

Everyone I've met except for the boat load of Aussies (they actually came off a boat) live here at the beach locally. Most of the Irish work at one of the many Irish pubs here at the beach. As do the Scottish girls, and the whatever.

I have no clue where to go to get that Limey breakfast crap, but I have taken a couple of the Scottish girls to the Beach Hut Cafe for breakfast and they all had eggs n sausage with hash browns.

I never claimed there was a magical or otherwise Expat community in Jacksonville, as I have only been in the Jacksonville area for 3 months now 2 in Atlantic Beach (I would have moved here sooner but I wasted the previous 9 month in the Bethesda Naval Hospital learning to walk with my new government issued prosthetic leg)but then I don't know where the Hindi Community or the Filipino Community or the Eskimo Community is either. I don't really care where the English hang out as I have only met a few Limeys that I likes and they were all with 22 SAS in Afghanistan.

And please inform us all of where in Jax this magical "expat community" might exist (since it wasn't mentioned in your post)? We had a saying in the Marine Corps
''IF IT WAS UP YOUR A$$ YOU'D KNOW WHERE IT WAS"

I'm still waiting on the Frigging Unicorn

BTW I'm not your frigging Mate. As you haven't earned that honour.

What are you talking about? There are a few but not many, I've only met 1 actual Scottish person and 1 Irish, meaning from those countries. I am Bosnian/Croatian and in Jacksonville there is a large European community especially on the southside. Jacksonville has near 50,000 Bosnians-Croatians-Serbians, around 20,000 Albanians, and a large number of Armenians, Russians, Ukrainians, Latvians, Lithuanians, Estonians, Greek, Belarussians, Bulgarians, Romanians, Germans, French, a lot of people from Spain (not latin or mexican but actual spanish people from the european country spain) and I know some British people too there are even people from Denmark, all have accents, and all are beautiful. The Europeans mainly stick together, and don't really associate or mingle with much Americans. Some of the Euro night clubs include, Tera Nova, Cafe Vucko, Cafe Valentino, Coffee Grinder and there are many european grocery stores you can buy your lovely Yorkshire Puddin and Jaffa Cakes!

I have 5 british friends and I'm sure they know other brits. Good luck!
