Not far from Mellow Mushroom (across the street, basically), a new Dueling Piano bar is opening up the night prior (on Thursday). Sometimes something like Dueling Pianos is quirky enough to make for a really good time

Mellow Mushrooms is over priced pizza, me and the wife spent $50 for 2 personal pizzas, a side ceasar, a pitcher of beer, and 1 coke. The band there usually sucks.

If you want something different to do head down the St Augustine and take one of the haunted tours. There is a haunted pub crawl and a few others that might be fun for your group. Just do a google search for Haunted St Augustine and they will come up....
