Can anyone recommend any Thai restaurants? Are there any Asian markets or grocery stores in JAX area?

We go to Thai Cafe on 17 in OP, on occasion. And, we like Thai Garden on Blanding, too.

My wife goes to the asian market at the intersection of Old St. Augustine Rd and Hartley Rd. (SW corner)

There are about a coupe of asian markets on University between 95 and Kennerly, but neither has as much selection as the one in Mandarin that Eric mentioned. As for Thai food, I haven't found a good one yet, but I haven't really looked either. I'll have to check out Eric's recommendations.

Relocating from NYC?

(googlemap for directions)
JAX Oriental
Myre Asian Market
Dae-Ho Oriental Food Market and there's another one in the corner of the same plaza.
World Food Market
Beach Blvd Flea Market - Sat/Sun go to the left side of this flea market you'll find 3 Asian owned produce vendors. The one next to the taco stand is run by Thai I think.

Thai food:
Taste of Thai
Lemon Grass
Pattaya Thai

TravelingFood listed some of the best restaurants. The Beach Blvd flea market is definitely worth checking out as well.

I also like Nam Hai for supplies:
