I had three interviews with this company. I was temping there, and I interviewed first time on my last day. All interviews were very positive. One of the people you would work with is in L.A. I had a phone interview with the man from L.A.. I had two with the guy in the city I live in.
I would have had the advantage since I was there for three months, I was trained on the systems, and got along well with everyone.
I get a phone message from the HR lady saying that after much discussion they decided to have this position in the L.A. office, and if I still wanted the job I could go to L.A.
I think this is so thoughtless. Why didn't they figure this out before that they wanted to just have this position in their L.A. office instead of having me jump through hoops for them? Corporate America sucks.
When I heard the HR lady say that if I considered the job I could go to L.A. I got pissed. The gall to think I would just pack up to move to L.A. for this kind of job. It's not like it's a senior upper level job.
