This is about questions the interviewee asks the interviewer...

Let's get the obvious out of the way - we all know during interviews you must be proactive and ask questions. Google pulls up about a million results of examples of questions you can ask. What happens when you run out of things to ask?

Specifically I mean when during the interview process they have you talk to 10+ people. I mean I have questions and usually I ask 2/3 people and I get the answer, I don't need to ask 10+ people the same question when everyone's answer is basically the same. It really just comes down to after 5 people (all from different departments) there's nothing else to ask. I feel like everything I need/want to know has already been answered multiple times already.

I'm sure someone is going to reply - "build rapport" yea obviously I try to kill time building rapport but that doesn't take an hour

Other thoughts?

It is fine to repeat questions. I like to ask the people would work with closely what their top 3 priorities would be for a person in that role. If you have rapport, ask about what they like best about working for the company.

Ask folks about themselves, what their goals are, etc. you can also say "I already asked X this question, but I was curious about your perspective on it".....show interest in the company's overall strategy and not only to the tasks you will be performing.
