Every Jewish nefesh lost, especially a child is a tragedy to great to be comprehended by myself. It tears me up inside to think of this horrible event. Seven more beautiful Jewish souls have been removed from the Earth.
Why did the mother and daughter run out without trying to at least save her other children?
I read on one of the Israeli websites (don't remember which one) that the mother did try to save her children and that is why one of her daughters/children is still alive.
Why were all the smoke detectors not functional?
Why do Orthodox Jews feel its okay to leave a hot plate running for at least a 25 hour period during Shabbat week after week unattended?
Do some Orthodox Jews actually turn on an electric hot plate and leave it on from Friday evening until Saturday evening?
If so, that means it is on when people are sleeping Friday night.
If they have a Gas stove they use a hot plate. If they have an electric stove, they don't.
