HI there!

I am going to be in KC MO for work next month and was wondering if it would be worth a quick few hour trip to Lawrence Kansas?

Is this a good town for a visitor to sight see, wonder about the downtown area a bit, take in a little scenery, etc... ??

Thanks!

It doesn't have much compared to KC. At that time of year it will be crowded with aspiring doctors, lawyers, businessmen, and teachers, masquerading as hippies.

Personally, I'd spend the time around KC if I were you. What kind of visiting/site-seeing did you have in mind? What do you like to do and see?

Sure, pretty little downtown near the Kaw River. The campus of the University of Kansas is one of the prettiest in the nation. Lots of history, art, and architecture.

It is definitely worth the trip. The downtown is great and the campus is beautiful. There is a lot to do in Lawrence. It was always a hit with visitors when I still lived in the area.
