For the record; rain does not cause depression and graphic design is a diverse field with many opportunities as you know.

Life is what you make it; opportunities abound and life is good. You sound prepared and intelligent. I know what you mean by laid back and that would describe Kauai as opposed to Maui (as you can see; Wailuku is in Maui)

Ha ha, I was just thinking to myself "wow, everyone on this thread is being super nice!". That is very unusual for threads like this. To the OP, good luck where ever you decide to move. Although, much can change in 4 years. Just remember to save a bunch of money and research, research, research. Oh and visiting as much as you can might a help a bit too(if money allows, being a student and all).
