I've found people like that everywhere I've lived, including the midwest and even a truly big city like Houston. Sometimes I think people find what they look for. I'm atheist, don't like guns, am not especially conservative, and while there are some things that I'm not crazy about, it's not the pit of the earth that you and a couple of others like to make it out to be.
