Echoing the above, I think your best bets are Trump, Mandarin Oriental, or Vdara. These are casino-free and therefore much more likely to be tobacco free even in the common areas.

Gamblers smoke. Not all smokers are gamblers but all gamblers are smokers- at least the serious gamblers. The airport is non smoking and the non serious gamblers can play slots and video poker there. Only serious gamblers play the tables that have a live dealer anyway. I am neither a smoker or a serious gambler. But when I was playing the slots for a few hours, the cigarette lady came around.

What do you mean by serious gamblers? There are a lot of high rollers who do not smoke. You are right on your first statement but incorrect on your second one.

The Aliante Station didn't seem too bad when I went there, nor did the South Point. If you want to get your gamble on in a non-smoking environment, try the supermarket or the K Mart. There's enough people playing at some of those that the machines can't be all that bad. How about those Dotty's Casinos? Are those smoke-free? I've never been in one.

I'm visiting vegas in August, and it seems its not clear about the casinos on the strip. I smoke cigars and I wanted to know if all casinos on the strip allow smoking while inside gambling...don't want to end up getting kicked out to the curb.

That would be ridiculous though. If you are a tourist and come to Vegas you don't want your experience to be nothing more than a locals casino. Might as well stay closer to home or go to one of the many states which have banned smoking in casinos. You come to Vegas to see and experience the Strip and sadly if you have a high sensitivity to smoke then you can't really enjoy it.

All do. Only restaurants do not allow smoking.

Only exception are poker rooms, almost all of them ban smoking.

JMO....but anyone who "become[s] extremely ill within seconds of exposure to tobacco smoke or fumes"...should avoid Las Vegas (and most places where gambling is the center of attraction) like the plague.
