@ Blue. The paving was completed on the north loop? Are all 4 lanes opened now for travel? I'm not sure what else is planned other than additional neighborhoods or prepping for phase 3?

Default Westin

Looks like a lot of activity over at the Westin. 2 patrol boats at the dock. Hope we are not expecting a motorcade.

Obama's going to be playing Reflection Bay today. Good publicity for the course.

Just got done playing over at Reflection Bay. Doubt the Prez will be playing today as there was zero security at the course. The Westin has rooftop observers with binoculars and a lot of security in all public places, but the course is open with no restrictions as of noon. There was some commotion on the 11th green over at South Shore around 9:30am that gave the security guys concern, but they sent the patrol boat over and nothing came of it.

Went to the annual tree lighting and was really disappointed in LLV and how ar it has fallen. Had heard it was bad but we used to go many times a year and just had not been since last years tree ceremony. Casino dark, no shops open but 2 or 3 and empty restaurants. No one was there, maybe 150 people. Sad to say the least as the kids really loved going there for the ice skating and snow falling from the roofs, just a nice place to walk and enjoy. hope it comes back just as strong because it would be sad knowing that there is a jewel like that sitting there rotting

I went and played it this morning (I know, I said I wouldn't but it was part of my meetup group at $85). Obama was there this morning playing the front 9 because the Parkway was blocked by NHP at the village, we had an 11:00 tee time and the employees were told to stay quiet about it

Got to say that I was glad I did, course was in fantastic shape, greens were super fast (12 stimp). Course staff was very friendly (Food and Beverage needs some attention) and we had a great time as the weather stayed nice. While I wouldn't play it too much due to the high rates, I would go back in a heartbeat.
