This is the link my friend sent.
You are basing this argument on a craigslist add? Seriously?

I'll make an add right now, giving people 500/wk to occupy your front lawn...... of course I don't have 500, or know where your house is, but whatever. Its on craigslist, so its got to be true!

I received a personal message (not from you), so I am going to address this. The only way to make change would be from a violent overthrow of the government like in 1776. This petty wall street protest crap is not going to cut it. I do not advocate violence, but these peaceful protests are futile. They are a literal joke as the ruling class is laughing at them.

No one cares. Go to sleep.

Corporations have bought our government and you're worried about THIS? Your friend's probably a lying pro-corporate goon like yourself in the first place.

The problem in your eyes is the people.

It will turn violent. The government will eventually use force against it's people like they have done in the past.

Hopefully NATO will help take out military targets like they did with Libya.

As sad as it is, I have to agree with this.

We all "laugh" at the middle east for overthrowing their countries. How futile it is. "Those people are always at war"..........

I don't think we're far from it ourselves.

I agree with you on both points. That is why I do not want to be a part of it.

See, I don't believe it need turn violent. As pizzed off as we are, we still live in a society that is relatively decent. We don't have presidents for life. We don't have leaders who wear bullcrap military medals on their Savile Row suits. We DO have leaders who are in the pockets of big business. But we've been there before.

What we need is a pizzed off populace, and someone like Teddy Roosevelt in charge. We barely have the first. We haven't had the second since Teddy Roosevelt. I think RFK would have been. But we never got to experience an RFK presidency. A pity, that.
