The pigs at AC Farms eat whatever the casinos give them in the way of "past its prime" food. And yes, much of that is pork.

What I simply do not understand about vegetarians is their belief that plants are somehow less intrusive than animals. When a farmer harvests his/her wheat/soy/corn/etc., millions upon millions of critters are killed by the harvesters. And then there is the loss of habitat. The reality is that in order for us to live, lots of other living animals have to die. There's no way around this. Eat tofu all you want. But don't think for a minute that the soy harvest didn't result in the deaths of millions.

I'll quit eating meat when bears, sharks and lions also go vegetarian. The way I see it, we've got incisors and front-facing eyes for a reason.

Yeah. Soy is anything but environmentally friendly. I recall reading about the clear cutting of the rainforest in order to plant nothing but field upon field of soy.

I love going to the Aliante for their Tuesday Night Roasted Pig buffet but on a few occasions during the times I went, there is a nasty odor, a stench on a stretch of the 215 beltway most likely coming from the Pig farm.

I'm glad the owner of RC Farms is standing his ground, he's been in the area long before many of the residential communities there.

Thats the irony of it all. People complain about having to live near it but the smell travels all around. Scent molecules know no boundaries. I had no idea how many pigs were out there, I think the video said 6,000?? Wow, who knew? I think the smell is coming from the rotted food and cooking up the sludge vs the actual pigs. So basically the stench is the true smell of tourism.

He was there first, but when does eminent domain override him? Even the Air Force base has had to give a little with land and flight paths as NLV crept further north.

It is tricky. Why the neighbors are all in NLV the pig farm is in Clark County and will never willingly be annexed. So as long as Tom Collins is around it ain't gonna happen.

The odor by Aliante Casino is local and not from the pig farm which is pretty far away. Storm sewer or such. It was written up somewhere a couple of years ago.
