Can you pay your bills or would that be considered an investment?? I'd go spend it on random people just for the thrill of seeing them randomly happy. Then I'd have a big block party all expenses paid in my neighborhood. I pretty much already have a bunch a crap that I really don't need. :/

If you gamble and win, do you get to keep the winnings? If so, I might do something similar to the "all on black" idea. If not, what's the point in gambling with it?

If gambling is (effectively) out, I'm not sure. Probably rent a Lamborghini with part of it. I've always wanted to do that but can't justify the price tag. Eat at the most expensive restaurant in town and leave a crazy tip. "Dig This" looks like a ton of fun, but again I can't justify the cost, so that might be on the itinerary in that situation. Maybe hold a feast for the folks that camp out around Main and Washington.

I'd pay off my debts using the wifi I paid for inside of the top floor Encore room I just booked. Then I would put the remaining dollar into a slot machine.

For fun though, I'd take the family on the grand canyon helicopter tour, stop off at the camera store and pick up the Canon 5D mkiii and a bunch of lenses, take the family to a good restaurant. Take them shopping and buy myself a nice, but not too nice, suit.

Spending it on yourself is fine. And you get to keep all gambling winnings minus the $50K you use to gamble with. So yes, you can live it up...

Sit in VIP with the celebrities
Get drunk off of expensive liquor
Watch a dozen shows in one day
Buy a 20K cabana
Spread it out among the homeless
Fly your family out to the city(If they can make it within the 24 hour time period)

Okay, I'd buy a small drive through coffee shack and start a small business.

If I have to burn the $50k completely without trace in 24 hours then I'd get a penthouse, rent a lambo, and eat at every ridiculously priced restaurant you guys could name for me. At my last hour I'd give whatever is left to a local elementary school.
