At the top of the thread on any page, in the light blue border, you will see "Thread Tools" click on that, and choose "subscribe" from the drop down.

We live in the shadow of the west mountains, and it's cooler here in the afternoons. Not so much in the morning, I think. That morning sun (We have nothing behind us to block it) is pretty hot.

This view is mostly east.

Yup, just above the area around NYNY.

Here's today's view looking in your direction:

It is a beautiful view.
Thank you.
I can't wait to have mountain views!
Do you know the name of any communities in the shadow?
Just so I have more to go on.
I am seeking a rental so unsure if it is only sales there.

Thank you.
I just did that.
It said it would email me for notification. However, I do not recall this site ever asking for an email address to join.

Probably not anything noticeable. Using Google Maps and creating an elevation profile, Summerlin falls in the range of 2600-3200 ft above sea level. Summerlin West is approximately 3200 ft above sea level. Summerlin South is around 3000 ft above sea level. I doubt there would be any significant temperature differences between these areas. The lowest elevation of Summerlin would be the very eastern part of Summerlin North at approximately 2600 ft above sea level.

* Is downtown in N or S?
Downtown Summerlin would be in Summerlin South.

According to this site

Elevation of any address - veloroutes.org

we are at 3000 feet. Or we were when the page was working. Tonight it can't seem to find an address no matter what I put in.
