I'm looking to buy a Thermador or Subzero fridge and none of the local dealers seem to want to give any kind of deal on price.... They all want full list and won't negotiate at all on price. Out of state dealers won't ship to Vegas to to restrictions put on them by manufactures. I can't believe someone has not sued for price fixing... That's like Chevy or Ford demanding you pay full MSRP and only to a local dealer. Does anyone know a way around this? You would think when you are spending 12k on a fridge you should have a little negotiating power....

If you find a deal in a neighboring state, why not just rent a Uhaul and go get it?

wait for a sale or a promotion... a 10% off coupon, etc.
go to the post office get a address change form, go online fill it out - get moving coupons
there are ALWAYS great discounts...

GOOGLE IS YOUR FRIEND... as long as its a major retailer local stores will meet the online pricing

also estate sales, people have houses foreclosed on all the time, you can pick up one there for 1/2
The re-store on Sahara is another great place to find things like that.

DRIVE TO ANOTHER STATE AND BUY IT THERE, then have it shipped. will be less them full tilt

There are MANY ways to skin this cat

Funnily enough I was looking for subzeros myself.

I found on ebay they're all ancient, there dont seem to be many people selling new/nearly new. I had heard that there were a lot of unused ones being sold from repos etc, but can't seem to find much.

In fact it took me a long time to even find a price list for them. I might just have to have mine repaired instead, its a bit too much hassle this!

So how is that? Unlike other appliance brands that I can order from any dealer both Subzero and Thermadore force you to buy from a local dealer...

I am assuming you looked at Pacific Sales inside of Best Buy Summerlin? Saw a lot of high end appliances there, Viking, Subzero etc. Not sure what their price structure is though. Also have you done a search on Nexttag.com?
