Hi! I am somewhat interested in attending my local Democratic caucus. For those of you who have participated in the past, about how long did it take? The Step-by-Step guide online ( How to Caucus - NVDems ) mentions that "After the first alignment, members of the viable groups can make a pitch to try to recruit members of the non-viable groups to caucus for their candidate." This seems like it could take a while...

Thanks!

You're a union guy. I thought HRC had received endorsements from most of the unions in town. I'm glad to see you're not a robot by blindly following the recommendations of others, so I'm curious to know your reasoning. Thanks.

I attended the local Republican caucus in 2008 and 2012. I recall we spent no more than two hours between reviewing the rules of the caucus, giving small speeches on the candidates, voting on the candidates, and then selecting delegates for the county convention.

My union has money tied up in things tied to Clinton. The union president is buddy buddy with Clinton. Against the will of the union members, he elected to endorse Clinton. I can not tell you one name of any union member that supports Clinton. We're all Bernie with some old timers going for Cruz or Trump.

I am for Sanders because ALL politicians are going to take our money. Sanders is the only one who actually wants to spend it on us.

That's what I don't understand about people who are so vehemently against Sanders because of the democratic socialist label.

All politicians want our money...I'd rather my tax money go towards education, infrastructure, and things to help OURSELVES (the taxpayers) than more money being thrown at foreign wars.

Call me crazy

Yes, Bernie Sanders would be great for this country. The poor and middle class will do much better under Bernie Sanders. The rich will do worse which is why they despise him. Here is a millionaire complaining about Bernie Sanders. Nothing new.

Honestly the only thing to expect is Trump winning by a landslide.

Hillary is going to "win"
I have been calling it for years. Even when she was talking about retirement due to the brain injury deal.
She is so connected and corrupt it's unreal.

I participated in the first Democratic caucus in 2008. I prefer a private vote. I did not like arguing with others, being herded around in a high school gym, and that it took place at a specifuc time which left out those who work during that time. Ours was also a little disorganized and I wanted to vote and get out. My hubby can't attend this time as he is working. I think that is discriminatory. I am not sure what the Republican caucus is like, but I understand they are a little different in process. I registered Independent to avoid having to go through this circus again, aside from my disdain for the two party system.
