What makes you think Vegas would only average 15k for an MLS game?

Also they have already said they will use natural grass for the stadium

OK - 20K will put them right in the middle of the pack.

Have they said that? How are they going to grow grass in a domed stadium? Even with a retractable roof, it would be hard to do.

I doesn't need to grow inside the stadium. As in
Phoenix.

Davis prefers a grass field and one proposal had a grass field with a retractable rood. But no domed stadium other than U of P has successfully managed to keep grass in a dome and the grass at U of P spends about 300 days outside. Maybe part of the $1.5 billion includes an amazing array of grow lights.

A few dozen 12 foot in diameter solar tubes and they could grow forests of Canabis between games.

Imagine the insane water bill it would take to maintain that much grass. I haven't heard what would be used but it seems completely illogical and irresponsible to use real grass if the stadium happens.

As irresponsible as Wynn's lagoon project? Wynn Resorts planning $1.5B expansion for Las Vegas Strip property | Las Vegas Review-Journal

Plus it would be less water than add a new golf course to Vegas
