I posted that when friends and family hear about the Mandalay Bay on the news in the morning that we were not there. Most live east so they're all in bed.

I heard one shooter shot on the 32nd floor and the other shooter is still at large.

Also, that the ER's are reaching capacity.

New Update says reports of shots fired at NYNY and Tropicana are false, but there's like six hotels of reports of shots fired.

Looking at video footage thru social media is absolutely horrifying. The quality of cameras in peoples smart phones these days are so clear that it feels like you're really there. If i was in that crowd and i heard bullets going off like that, my legs would get wobbly, then i'd fall down to the ground out of fear.

I really can't not imagine how it must be like to be in that position.

Please i beg you, watch this video to judge for yourself, this is NOT your "typical" shooting where it gets on the news for a day or two and fades away. This was an act of pure terrorism NO EXCUSE. The crowd is too enormous for it to just be some psycho.

I was downstairs reading and winding down for the night. My free news team aka husband comes flying downstairs to tell me what was going on. Terrible. While channel 13 earlier reported 20 dead, I think it was a typo. They confirmed 2 were dead on a different channel. And 24 injured. So far. I guess we will know more in the morning.

Initial reports are often incorrect because of the need to break news fast and quickly to get it out to the public.

It sounds like one shooter was shooting from a hotel room on the 32nd floor of Mandalay Bay where they got them. There are reports of shots fired at Excalibur, MGM in the lobby, Tropicana, the Bellagio, and NYNY, but Tropicana and NYNY proved to be false and MGM was actually on lockdown. We haven't seen footage from anywhere else but the Country Music Festival.

I-84 is shut down between Trop and Russell Rd.

Just came in: Police believe it was one shooter and that there aren't multiple shooters. Estimated 70 casualties, dozens dead many injured. Wounded went to UMC and Sunrise hospital.
