Safest neighborhoods where people can feel safe walking around at night?

Also, what is the worst part(s) of Vegas?

You should look this up here:

https://www.crimemapping.com

I think, that generally Summerlin and the RNP part of NW are the safest.
There should be other good spots as well.

Appreciate it.

One of the spots I was looking at looks like a dam breeding ground for crime. Forget it.

Usually, the pinned thread up top is a good source of information. No snark, here but that thread is kind of a must-read if you are thinking of relocating here.

Thanks but, that thread has a little too much fluff. I don't have time to sift through it. I just was looking for a more direct answer to my question. Michael seems to have provided a good resource.

Okay. I’ve only lived here for my entire adult life. I will defer to Michael’s link. I think he’s been here six months or so. Nice guy, I’ve met him at a CD meetup.

Try an older, ethnically diverse neighborhood like 89106. The folks here love me!:

I make no judgment about the whys or hows but ethnically diverse and best areas of Las Vegas Metro area do not go together. Summerlin and Green Valley area are about 77% white with most of the rest being Asian. The more ethnically diverse areas are the more crime-ridden, sadly. Those are just the facts.

I think it is rather about income level than race. There might be a correlation in some way, but in my opinion it only boils down to income level of a neighborhood. Many crimes are done by your neighbors and if they are all high earners, there seems to be a reduced risk of them becoming criminals that break into your house etc.
