That is not the issue. We, the US citizenry, have allowed the illegal aliens to come and stay for decades. At various times we even promoted it. We now have a population at least a factor of 10 bigger than that which we can manage with our existing immigration system. So the options are get rid of them by converting to legal or live with it. We do not have an option of deporting them which lacks support and any structure capable of doing that task.

I personally view living with it the worst option. That allows for the problem to get much worse.

Agree the people that are here are a problem we are stuck with but letting more in has to stop. Who is paying for the health care they want to throw in for them? The country is close to bankrupt financially. Morally we are already there.

I wouldn't say the US Citizenry allowed it. At least 1/2 of us were forced into it by the uber liberal open boarder democrat wet dreams.

Nonsense. Goes back to well before WW2. Open borders is simply a right wing myth. And it was Reagan who signed the big amnesty. Which was then blown all to hell by both Republican and Democratic administrations.

It may have started back then but how does it end when you have the left that wants to do away with ICE and Border Patrol?

Find me a DNC plank to do away with either.

By the way ICE began in 2003. So you believe there was no immigration control until then? ICE has developed a reputation for being brainless strong arm types. I do not agree but that is what they are trying to do away with. Not immigration control.

Not to mention I want to get away from the over liberal policies of NJ and it seems Nevada is just as bad. Now Illegals are getting drivers licences here. It wont be long till they are voting. They have a 12 pt. check system for legal citizens to get a drivers license but if you're illegal just step right up.
Plus in Jersey, you can't pump your own gas. I found this out the hard way after an infuriated man in a turban rushed up to me and said "This is my responsibility!"

Agreed, Republicans are as wasteful and make poor policy decisions as well. The difference is what it’s wasted on and the relative scale. If we really wanted to clean up waste we’d start with the military.
But Sir,

If not for Nellis AFB, my success story would never have come to fruition!

I have an interesting statistic to share and I am not taking sides or saying one is better than the other. It all depends on your perspective. Personally, one of the things I love about this area is the racial and cultural diversity.

The city I moved from is 89 percent white. And here is the breakdown for North Las Vegas:

The racial makeup of the city was 55.93% White, 19.02% African American, 0.82% Native American, 3.24% Asian, 0.53% Pacific Islander, 15.78% from other races, and 4.68% from two or more races. 37.61% were Hispanic or Latino of any race.
