The fireworks on the Strip last night were very impressive (we were on the 35th floor of Turnberry Place)

I love the view of the smoke after the fireworks were over:

That's what I thought about Lucky Dragon and then a year later it
was gone!!! I guess I should also add Sahara to my list, haven't been there
since the changeover from SLS.

I haven't been to any of them either. Just stood outside of Circa. I hadn't really thought about it I guess. I do want to go to this beach themed bar in the Virgin Hotel.

Sitting here listening to the foot steps overhead installing our new 5 ton air conditioner.

As some of you know our property is heavily forested. So they lifted the old and new units something like 50 feet to clear the trees.

This was after a 6 week battle with the home warranty company and the local supplier they picked. In fact I think we re going to take both to small claims court and the contractor board.

And almost felt like having a memorial service for the old unit. Lasted 35 years.

That’s incredible!! An AC unit lasting 35 years, wow! I swear for everything I hear about “such and such only lasts this long,” there are some startling exceptions. I heard you need your pool resurfaced every 10-15 years, but my uncle’s is at 27 years now and he’s never had to resurface it. I heard some AC units only last 10 years, maybe 15.

I used to be on here quite a lot. Call it a phase I guess. I just randomly thought about this forum today abd decided to come take a peak. Hope you are all well. I just recently moved to an apartment in Summerlin and got hired as a bartender at long long last. Been driving for Uber and I’ve been making money hand over first
