Sunset is the best FREE park. I think it's a shame that the city sees fit to charge you to get into Floyd Lamb @ Tule Springs which is our best local park. It only costs me $15.00 a year but it shouldn't cost anybody anything. And it shouldn't be named for a crook.

I went to the Floyd Lamb park today and thought it was really cool. The wildlife was great, with ducks, geese and peacocks. One thing that bothered me was the proximity to the shooting range. The sound of gunshot isn't really condusive to relaxation.

Should be mostly going away when the new range opens. Don't hear it much during the week but it is noisy on the weekend.
