Famiglia Pizza at the Palms at least imports the water from NYC, which makes it taste great as well, I don't like the tap water in NYC, when I visited, but when they put it into food it makes the food taste better...

You used to get them in the downtown casinos for playing slots, or they give them to hotel guests. People would throw them away and the panhandlers would pick them up and live off them. I imagine they are handed out all over town, but since I've never bothered, I don't pay attention to where they come from. Usually they also contain free plays for gaming, or they might match your bet on some games.

We have the Entertainment book with has all kinds of twofer deals. I think it costs about $30.00 but it pays for itself in two or three uses. Plus it is good for things like hotels and rental cars in other cities.

BTW: I know you only said pie, but I think only NYers call a pizza a pizza pie. I was told by an Italian friend that pizza means pie in Italian so that pizza pie is like saying pie pie. Don't know if that's true, but I hear people saying Sierra mountains all the time, which is mountain mountains since sierra means mountain in Spanish. I only know the dirty words in Italian, except I learned to count to ten in that language before I learned it in English back home in little Italy. From watching the Sopranos, mo'lady now calls the spaghetti sauce the gravy.

Thanks for the info, it helps alot. As for the termanology, we usually say something like "lets go grab a slice" or "how about we order a pie". Or yes just Pizza. Actually people around here used to call it La Piz, or La Peez, which was "A" term for pizza. Pie is: Torta, Pizza means Pizza. Call it whatever you wan't my friend, i'll call it a F'ing cheese frisby and noone will care. Me---> Un piccolo Italiano, I know a little little Italian.... I'm not italian, 75% German and 25% something that is like German LOL.

Default Vegas-Sin City

What happens in Vegas stays in Vegas-that means if you have to consume a pizza in Vegas-we won't tell. Just don't eat at the pizza eatery at N.Y./N.Y. My daughter and son-in-law got really sick on the pizza there! She says the buffets are ghastly, except for the one at the Mirage, but it is very expensive for a buffet. She also says that Toby Keith serves up a really great fried bologna sandwich-YEE Haw!!!!

the pizza at NYNY, IMO was actually really good...

Krispy Kreme is downright awful and is a heart attack waiting to happen and it gets all over the place, it doesn't have nearly half the taste of Dunkin' Donuts...
