To understand it, you need to google map the intersection of N LVB and Range Road, click Satellite view and you will see what I mean. You would show your credentials to the gate guard who would let you walk through.

No short cuts. It's only about .3 miles from that gate. Get on the sidewalk running parallel to Range Rd and you can see the hospital on the left--it's a short walk. There is a tank farm with fences all around, so trying to cut through any of that will bring your walk to an unwanted encounter with security.
Great information. Thank you very much.

Now as far as the 113 bus, it goes up to LV Blvd at Craig which leaves me with a 16 minute walk to LV Blvd at Range road. This might be feasible and would eliminate the need for a rideshare. Google maps states that it is .8 miles.

Fuel in refinery-sized storage tanks.

Yeah, I can see security getting a tad touchy about people wandering in there.

Thank you for your service.

Bus113
16 min (12 stops) · Stop ID: 4281
6:35 AM
Las Vegas @ Craig (N)
WalkWalk
About 16 min , 0.8 mi
Use caution - may involve errors or sections not suited for walking
Head northeast on NV-604 N/N Las Vegas Blvd toward E Craig Rd/Fitzgerald Blvd
6:51 AM

N Las Vegas Blvd & Range Rd
Nevada

So my questions for WVREDLEG is this; Is that .8 miles walkable? 16 minutes?

There are orange cones scattered all over that portion of LVB on both directions of travel. On the southbound side, there are sidewalks near Craig, but I don't know the condition of the sidewalks as you would walk north toward Range Road. I don't know how far sidewalks extend north of Craig and LVB (toward Range Road). Intersection of Craig and LVB is always pedestrian active--apartments and a C-Store split by Craig.

Thanks again. very helpful.

I am thinking if I was requesting an uber, would I want the destination address to be 4700 North LV Blvd.? or North LV Blvd. at Range road?

Wondering if that checkpoint has an exact address. Doubtful.

Actually 113 goes to Range Road and turns around there between 6Am AND 9PM.

https://www.rtcsnv.com/wp-content/up...routes/113.pdf

See the northbound route and schedule a couple of pages in.

The bus stop is actualolty off of range road.

This is great news. The google transit site told me I had to disembark at LV and Craig.

Thanks.
