I hate things like that on the onion. I have to go away and look up the congressman to tell whether they were funning me. Certainly could not have been me. I would have committed kidicide on the spot with all those witnesses.

We never had anyone get past the second public tantrum. And I have three kids and a stray that made it to adulthood. We don't talk about the others.

Unhappy What carnage will the GM list on Friday bring????

Las Vegas has 4 dealerships on the list;
Integrity Chrysler Jeep & Dodge, United Chrysler Jeep, United Dodge and Jim Marsh Chrysler Jeep.
Wasn't surprised by United or Jim Marsh being on the list considering what the "goal" of the closures is for Chrysler. Kind of surprised that they are keeping Chapman and Towbin (granted Chop does just Dodge which may be the reason). At least Jim Marsh can still sell Suzuki and Mitsubishi.

I remember seeing Integrity having ads in the R-J in the help wanted just 2 weeks ago, that has to suck getting a job only to find out that it's being eliminated by the end of the month This is absolutely shocking to see all these dealerships close which could/might double the unemployment rates especially if the GM closure list comes out tomorrow.

The rest of this year is going to be a rough one folks

Yup...I have to admit being an old F*rt with enough resources to get by is a very nice place. But I almost feel out of the action. Jump back in and suffer with the rest...I won't. But just imagine the whole auto industry imploding.

I actually said they were doing it 25 years ago. But I did not mean for it to actually happen. I was trying to get people to more honesty in the way costs were accounted.

This is actually disaster by FASB...though nobody will understand that.

Accounting rules must relate to reality. Much of what we are now experiencing is because we were unwilling to do that.

I feel sorry for the people at the dealerships...they were only pushing the product. The powerful Auto Unions are not the only ones to blame...you have to blame the workers who supported them to the end. They refused to make concessions...so decisions are now made for them.

ok... a joke then.....

Cinderella is like 80 years old... shes sitting in her rocking chair knitting when the Fairy Godmother shows up... the fairy godmother says how good she has been all these years and that she can have 3 wishes..

first she says that she has been poor all of her life and worked hard, so she wants to be wealthy... so poof... her rocking chair turns to gold and she has tons of money...

wish number 2 - shes looking old and remembers when she was attractive, so she asks to be vibrant and beautiful again.... poof --- shes one hot looking babe...

wish number 3 as she stares at her cat and wishes that he was a super handsome prince --- poof, now the cat is a hunk of a guy...

so cinderella is happy and the fairy godmother leaves......

the hunk comes over to her and whispers in her ear, don't you wish you never had me neutered????
