I pulled into the parking garage about 15 minutes ago and go hit with a downpour....4 drops hit my windshild....I tried to save em but they were dead befors I caould park.

Yes that's usually the only way to detect rain, if you are in a car and you see the evidence on your windshield. However, where I was we had big ominous, black clouds hanging over and along with thunder and lightening it dumped rain. It has been raining solid for about an hour. It's not as heavy now.

Haha, that's funny. Every now and then I will use my phone. Right now I'm having computer issues so I have been using it more.

Figures it rains when I leave! Although, being in MI through the fall and winter I will see enough precip to last a lifetime...

Soooo....everybody that moves there because they love all the hot, dry weather that LV experiences...really go gaga over the rain, too??? Seems contradictory.

Well most certainly, I am not "everybody". But, I didn't move there because I love dry hot weather, that was just an added perk. I do not dislike rain, just don't want it everyday. But, I REALLY hate snow. The great thing about LV weather (to me) is that all those things that I disliked too much of (gray days, rainy days and snow) just come once in a great while there and I appreciate it so much more as I know...."the sun will come out tomorrow"!!!!!!

Did that help the confusion???
