I'm sorry to hear that, my friend. I'll be praying for you, as always. Sure she SEEMS nice, since she has to do that for work. She's the total opposite in real life. I do stuff around the apartment, and when I mention it, she sarcastically asks if I want a brownie button. I can't do anything to please either one of them. BIL keeps bringing up the cashier job that was at the Sinclair on the corners of W Charleston and Buffalo. I keep telling him that I didn't have anything to wear than t-shirts and a pair of shorts at that time. If it's ok, I'll give her your e-mail address and ph#, so that she can contact you, and let you know how I'm doing, and what my room number is.

This will be my next to last time online, my friends. I'll probably be able to get online on Friday, but I won't be able to while I'm in the hospital. I'll be sure to leave instructions that anyone who wants to call or visit me will be put thru/given my room number.

I pray that I survive this, and if I don't it's been nice knowing you all!

Aqualung, I wish you the best, but you really need to quit being so melodramatic. You're not in any danger of dying. As you know, I've gone through what you're undergoing, but under less than optimal conditions. My first surgery to remove my colon was done on an emergency basis after I had been flown by helicopter from one hospital to another because the first hospital thought that I had too many problems occuring concurrently for them to handle (DVTs & PEs in addition to intestinal issues). I then spent a couple of months in the hospital with tubes coming out of my abdomen draining various infections because the colon had to be removed without time to do a bowel prep.

And yet I survived.

By the time I underwent my third abdominal surgery the following year to reverse the ostomy, I was much healthier and that surgery was a breeze.

And that is the operation that awaits you.

Trust me, you have nothing to worry about.

This isn't meant to minimize what you're going through, but just a way to relieve some of the anxiety that you're experiencing. When you wake up after surgery, you'll wonder what you were so worried about.

Thanks! I have no problem with you giving your sister my email and phone number. As always, I wish you the best.

I was just at Town Square today but did not go to Miller's Ale House instead my friend and I went to Claim Jumper. What a beautiful day, kids playing in the treehouse, many people dining outdoors and Town Square is full of people. Frys Electronics is busy as usual with the parking lot full, went in there shopping around for a computer desk for my nephew.
