It's not like we have a choice in who we buy our energy from, so why does NV Energy spend on expensive commercials? In the past, they used to say that the commercials weren't funded by their victims...I mean customers.

I don't get it...other than a stinging sensation...with the prospect of another long, hard summer upon us.

They can't have too many people catching on to the level of deception. It's a delicate balance of balancing their income along with tricking people denser than lead.

I have been thinking about this post for about a day now. Your financial situation is precarious as well. You shouldn't risk your own stability.

As soon as you have 6 months living expenses emergency money saved up and your car and credit cards are all paid off and you have money left at the end of the month then you can afford to be charitable to others.

Your feeling of wanting to help is admirable but don't put yourself in danger if you go with it.

I also think your girlfriend would go ballistic if she knew of this plan. Am I right?

Your welcome!

I realize it is up to aqua, but I just meant that one week in a motel might not be enough, yet the money might help for him to search elsewhere where jobs are more available. Again, it is always up to the individual what they want to do with themselves. While we may all need a push or a helping hand once in a while, I am also of the belief that the Lord helps those who help themselves, too.

Tazz is right, you are not out of the financial woods yet! But, you are definitely heading in the right direction...

Flew in last night. Sign of the times? Plane was EMPTY! I have never flown to LV in a plane so empty. Crazy. Even the flight attendants were shocked. I think she said there were 92 passengers on a plane that holds 218. She said she thought they forgot to put a one in front of the 92. Was nice to have the space, but a little disturbing that there were no people.

People don't like to fly into Las Vegas (or any resort city for that matter) at night because you basically lose a day of your vacation but you still have to pay for a hotel that night. It's always the early flights that are packed.

exactly.. if you have a place to stay, it doesn't matter... but why would you spend for a hotel because you got a deal on the plane.. mornings are packed.... thats why its always cheaper to arrive here late and leave here early.
