Were it not for the Las Vegas Strip, I think Las Vegas would be the next Detroit.

So what makes your opinion superior to mine? You may get a pass from everyone else here for being a rude jerk, but you don't get a pass from me. Don't look up when it rains, you'll drown. How is it that you feel so comfortable being rude?

My fault. you slid one in between mine and the one it was meant to follow. I should have quoted. Sorry about that. Fixed it.

But now that you mention it your point is inane. Without the strip Las Vegas would not exist as it does now and therefore could not be a Detroit. Likely be a bigger version of Pahrump.

My post was not inane. Your city is going to H in a handbasket. The release of 6000 foreclosures is not going to make the city look better.

Lady we have already eaten something like 60,000 foreclosures. You really think another 6,000 will make a difference?

Sheesh. As things are going now we are getting about 4000 a month...That is another month and a half and is not likely incremental.

El Paso forclosures up more than anyplace else in Texas

Actually if you spent much time here you would know that things look a whole lot better than they did a year ago.

And it is getting better all the time.

So find another falsehood to confirm your opinion. That one is not going to fly.
