Hmmm...let's see.

A number of dog parks.
The fishing's pretty good.
Area 51 isn't too far away.

1) No state taxes
2) No hurricanes, snow, tornadoes, or other damaging weather seasonally (besides a couple months of HOT weather, which every city has a couple months of ...something).
3) No grass to mow or snow to shovel.

BTW, summer does not even seem to last forever...it's been in the 50's for the past week or so which is hardly summer....even in the 60's these past few days...still not short/skirt weather...The "summer" weather did not start last year until the beginning of April...

I've already worn t-shirts and shorts on several occasions. Mind you, I didn't do that at 5am.

If you golf, gamble, drink and have lots of money to shop then you will find things to do. The only culture in this hell hole is found in the dairy section of the grocery store!!! Raising children in Vegas is only done by parents who are stuck here or the have their needs before a healthy upbringing of their children!!!!

Where do they come from?

Must be something about LV that attracts these sad, unhappy creatures...

Nothing more than a pit stop....too bad that you have to see unhappy on comments that are truthful.

We may be in challenging times, but Vegas has always been the middle finger of America. I sort of like that.

The comment is nonsense. It simply shows you know little about Las Vegas or the SW.

The poor people who think in this way are condemned to unhappiness wherever they are....and they always blame the place...

I like the middle finger comment. I hope Vegas (and Nevada) doesn't lose it's rugged and free spirited nature. It obviously takes skill and talent to keep Vegas running. Might not be your idea of culture but "it is what it is".
