More than likely their registrations have been canceled since they do not have insurance.

02 - 04 - 06 is the month the tag expires. The color denotes the year. 2011 is green, 2010 is white, so if yours is white and "10" then your registration expires sometime in 10/2010. Everyone who has a tag with a number less than 4 (April), should be green, otherwise their tags are expired.

People with expired tags learned not to go near Krispy Kreme.

OP i think that means there tags are NOT expired... if they have green tags then they would be good since green = 2011

white 02-04 tags would be expired... since white = 2010

I learned a lesson on that too. In Arizona, our tags expire at the end of the month. I assumed it was the same way here, but it isn't, My plates expired August 28th. I went in on the 29th and they gave me a late fee of $12. The lady also said I was lucky I did not get pulled over.
