Flint Hill outside of Coopersberg is almost 1000' in elevation and 34 miles from Philadelphia. In addition there are several smaller mountains around the Valley. For most people they effectively block any broadcast signal from Philadelphia.

The website USTVnow - Watch Live American TV Shows Online will give you free standard definition ABC, CBS, NBC, FOX, CW , PBS, and MyNetwork TV .

But to get actual live streaming broadcast network (not CBS), the cheapest way I know of is the relatively new YouTube TV.

I have a hard time getting Philly FM stations, when I'm anywhere north of 22, so I can imagine that TV signals would be worse (since they are now digital).

I think basically Sellersville is about as far north as you can go before there are hills over 800' that interfere with the signals.

The broadcast towers in Philadelphia are simply not high enough to get over an 800-1000 foot hill 25-35 miles away.

UHF stations require much more power
FOX WTXF-TV Digital: 42 (UHF) Transmitter power 1000 kW Height 926 ft
CBS KYW-TV Digital: 26 (UHF) Transmitter power 790 kW Height 1230 ft
NBC WCAU Digital: 34 (UHF) Transmitter power 700 kW Height 1313 ft

ABC WPVI-TV Digital: 6 (VHF) Transmitter power 34 kW Height 1083 feet
WFMZ new acquisition KJWP Digital: 2 (VHF) Transmitter power 9.36 kW Height 1020 feet

USGS map northern Bucks county

WFMZ is never going to reach Lehigh Valley now that they have sold their frequency and bought KJWP. They will have to build a translator on South Mountain but it may only reach City of Allentown.
