So is there a insider tip on how to find a Rental Home outskirts of Lex.

There are several companies in Lexington that rent homes. I rent from Lexington Rental Homes, and they rent homes throughout central Kentucky. I'd check out a few of those rental companies and contact them, and they can set up showings for you for houses that are available for rent within your parameters.

Georgetown and Frankfort are both fairly close to FMC if you want a smaller town feel. Also, lbar.com has some rental listings, but it is hard to find them with all the WEG rental listings (World Equestrian Games-Big event....everybody is wanting to rent their houses for the two week event!)
