Next year I plan on going to an Arsenal match at Emirates because I'm an American Arsenal supporter who has yet to go to Highbury or Emirates.

What is it like? I've heard the atmosphere is kinda lame. Is this true?
Where are some good places to eat/drink before the game?
How do you get there from Central London?
Do Arsenal supporters like Americans?

I've been to London before but it was when I was 13 and before I got into the EPL. I'm 17 and a happy Arsenal supporter now (well, I wouldnt say I've been particularly happy with this season ) My dads from London!

Thanks, any other advice would be nice too!

Calm down son, it's nothing to get worked up about. Arsenal supporters like anyone who support their team. I'm not a football fan so can't comment on the atmosphere. Depending on what station you get off at it's only a matter of anything from 4 minute walk to 15 and 20 mins from central london. It's on the Picadilly line. Eating Places I can only recommend a few places in the Islington/Angel area or around Farringdon Road Exmouth Market.

Check out their website for more info.

Default Food pub before game

Recommend The House for pre-match lunch. Book few daoys in advance cos it's busy on match days. I always take clients there, they do a fairly good job.

I doubt very much that a match against Spurs would lack atmosphere!

I suggest the New Den for that good old fashioned footie atmosphere.

Even Priestfield would beat the sanitised boring Premier**** League.

I think that Finsbury park is a good tube station to get there from. The Emirates stadium is small by American standards, and is right amongst a residential area, so no tail gaiting or anything like that. The atmoshpere is much more aggressive that American sports.

It´s not great but i´ll think you will be satisfied.

Where are some good places to eat/drink before the game?

Drinks at The Gunners pub (a few minutes Finsbury park station) or at The Rocket (Holloway road station(?)).

How do you get there from Central London?

Take the Victoria Line from Euston station or King's Cross St. Pancras to Finsbury park station.

Never been to London or England for the matter but I am also a Arsenal Supporter and hear that the "The Rocket" is good. The Away Boyz/girls sing there.
