Dug out my old hockey skates and was reminded of the lousy sharpening jobs that some young guy working at a rink pro shop did years ago - the rockers (arc of the blade) don't match and one blade is almost 1/8-inch "taller" than the other. Where can I go to get a professional job done?

Don't know where you're located, but Ice Works, the NY Islanders practice facility in Syosset, can help you in their pro shop!

Here's a link (scroll down on the page):

Islanders Pro Shop - New York Islanders - Shop

Good luck!

Twin Rinx in Hauppauge/Islandia has a good pro skate shop. The guy Stan is an old timer but knows how to sharpen skates.
