That's the most brilliantly funny thing I've read in a long time. I'm destined to think about it while quietly moving about in a public place, and will have to stifle a laugh that will make me look seriously disturbed. Thanks, bud.

Thanks, I think. That's nice of you to say. Of course, if you are mocking me...no thanks, that's not very nice...and I'm going to sulk and ponder my fate on this crappy isle we call home.

I assure you, I'm still laughing thinking about it this morning. And while this isle we call home certainly has its share of crap, there is still much to be proud of.

I'd say I had 15-20 patients that left my practice last year to relocate, none of them mentioned racial issues, in fact one family is african-american
Yes Kelly- we leave the island, come south, move to very integrated areas. The difference? We get great houses protected by HOA's & covenants so that the homes cannot turn into apartment buildings!

My family did nto flee racial diversity- we fled a socio- economic free for all.

Cambria Heights.

I know it is in Queens, but, still, it is really nice there. Just like when it was first built.
