Have you taked a drive down the Hempstead Turnpike? Why would you be interested in EM with so many other neighborhoods to choose from?

Budget is one reason. Also have family there. I was just asking for more information about it.

The Barnum Woods area is what like. I don't see a problem with Hempstead Turnpike except that it does get busy on the weekends.

What exactly is so good about East Meadow schools? Until I read this thread, I've never heard people talking about how good East Meadow schools are.

Thats bc ppl on LI are warped that if it's not Jericho it's a bad school, if their kids dont go to a to top HS they wont suceed. Plenty of my friends graduated from badly-ranked HS and are doing just fine- some are even attorneys and doctors.
