Just read on the Patch today that Chick-fil-a is waiting to hear on December 3rd if they are allowed to build on route 347 in PJS. Just thought some might be interested. I was surprised to hear it.

Why would they do that. There are minorities and same sex couples living there
Never saw what the big deal with chick-fil-a was when I lived down in FL. Its just another chicken place (although I like the waffle fries). As for letting them build they should have every right to do so, just like any other buisness, and you KNOW people will flock there despite the CEO's religious views on gay marriage. Heck, the "backlash" to that whole debacle probably tripled their sales for that month. People were lining up around the block! Chick-Fil-A has always been owned by a religious family (hence why they are closed on sundays) its nothing new.
I support Chick-fil-a for taking the right stand at the right time.
We need more companies like this.
Chick-fil-A is nothing more than fast food focused entirely on chicken products and they've been accused of using all sorts of unhealthy ingredients like the rest of 'em.. Unlike when Sonic hit Long Island I would suggest that this is a non-event and not worthy of anyone driving out of their way to sample their fare.
And if the biggest endorsement someone can offer on their behalf is about politics and lifestyle choices I would suggest going instead to McDonald's where at least the clown that runs the company wears makeup so you know what you're dealing with. For me, personally, I like my sandwich with a little more ketchup and a lot less piety.
While I don't support their views, it's another place that breaks up the monotony of McKingKenTacoWendy's.
