1) Package you have (e.g., silver, ultimate), your internet speed
2) Price
3) Number of times you have lost internet access for at least a 24 hour period over the last year

Are you happy with your plan? elaborate as you wish.

The only problem I have is with their equipment, both Fios and Optimum use their servers to control the TV and too many times when you hit a button on the remote nothing happens for at least thirty seconds or not at all, both systems are terrible.

I have Optimum. I've been wanting to sign up for FIOS Triple Play, but they kept giving me a hard time, so I gave up. They claim that my address does not show up in their database, even though I know for sure my condo complex has FIOS service. They kept saying they'll call back, but they never did. So I gave up.

To answer your questions:

Total Cost: $168.24 per month

The packages I have are, and their individual cost:

Optimum Preferred: $74.95
Multi-room DVR: $12.95
2 cable boxes for free for one year, as long as I pay for the Multi-room DVR (would have cost $13.90)
They refused to drop my price, but did give me Starz, Encore, and Showtime free for a year
Additional outlet fee: $1.50
Sports surcharge: $2.98
(Total TV cost: $92.38)

Optimum Online: $49.95 (including $10 multi-product discount)
Ultra 50 free for a year (they refused to drop my price, but offered Ultra 50 free for a year)

Optimum Voice: $19.95 ($34.95 - $15.00 multi-product discount)

The rest of the cost is taxes and fees adding up to $5.96.

I have never lost internet access for more than a 24 hour period during the last year (the only times I ever did were after Irene and after Sandy).

I wish I could either switch to Verizon FIOS triple play (again, my condo complex does have their service, Verizon is just giving me a hard time for whatever reason) or convince Cablevision to drop my price (I don't really care about free Starz, Encore, Showtime, or Ultra 50, to be honest).

Fios

1. Triple play extreme HD, one DVR, 15/5
2. $118 per month
3. never in 4+ years (not counting storms blackouts...and sandy)

Pretty happy. Prices has climbed a little more than I would like since I first joined...use to be $95 a month for triple play. I may go back to Optimum again if prices are far cheaper....even though its not as good and I dislike the Dolans

No, others in the condo definitely have all 3 FIOS services.
