There are some seedy parts of Westbury - New Castle area, and north of Old Country Rd. But IMO, Salisbury is okay. My Mom works there. The neighborhood is changing, but what neighborhood isn't these days?

Salisbury is a great middle class area. The only problem is Salisbury Park Drive is a speed trap. I don't know how nice a house you'll find, most were built from the 50's-70's, but I wouldn't hesitate moving there. Good access to Wantagh, NSP and SSP.

It's right next to new cassel which is a gang ridden disaster of an area.
